Starting by the end of the twentieth century, the study of relaciones de sucesos – Spanish single event new pamphlets – has been growing progressively in recent decades. Since then, researchers have paid special attention to different aspects surrounding this phenomenon. As far as the subject is concerned, some analyses on Lutheranism have already been carried out. Our work falls into this category, it deals with three relaciones de sucesos that relate the festivities celebrated in 1555, in Toledo, on the occasion of the conversion of Englishmen to Catholicism. Three works are analysed, authored, respectively, by Juan de Angulo, Sebastián de Horozoco and Francisco Sánchez (whose piece is also published in an annex). Attention is also paid to an anti-Lutheran carol printed in an account of events, whose author was Gaspar de la Cintera
