The city of Girona preserves many examples of medieval buildings. Despite the formal differences, there are common features in the conception of the spaces and the construction techniques that allow them to be identified without too many problems. The narrow facades, the deep plots, the existence of the inner courtyard as a core element, the location of a rear exit or orchard, and the living room as a preferred residential area. In height, they contain three f loors, the main one on the first f loor, with a courtyard crowning the house under the roof ​
