The study of algebra allows us to explore, establish relationships, model situations and make predictions from the handling of information. The normal development of these processes has been interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic. From this perspective, given the impact suffered by the Chilean curricular orientations having to implement the implementation of an emergency curriculum, an analysis of the curricular prioritization with respect to the learning objectives proposed in the algebra axis is presented.
