Introduction: This essay came up with the fact that children with cerebral palsy practise lower percentages of physical exercise than their healthy peers and the need of creating optimal programmes for this collective. 6 Purpose: To increase the quality of life of children with hemiplegic cerebral palsy. Method: Participants will be 5 children with hemiplegic cerebral palsy (8-11 years), with levels I and II of the Gross Motor Function Classification System (GMFCS). The training programme consists of 12 weeks, doing 3 sessions per week of one hour each, containing both terrestrial and aquatic sessions. The variables that are assessed are the quality of life and the physical abilities that are affected the most, which are strength, endurance, balance and flexibility and it is also assessed the level of spasticity on the paretic limbs. Results: The expectations of this programme are to increase the functional strength and endurance, especially during gait, improve balance and increase the flexibility, in order to improve the range of movement and reduce spasticity. Conclusions: This programme pretend to improve the physical capacities, so children can increase their quality of life, allowing the performance of the tasks of daily life in an autonomous and secure way
