La Síndrome postteràpia intensiva, una realitat a la Unitat de Cures Intensives: efectivitat d’una intervenció: projecte de recerca

Abstract

Introduction: The survival of the patients taken at the Intensive Care Unit has increased at the last years and also the number of patients given of this kick that present important affectations, affecting at his daily life. It is for this reason, that the year 2010 defined the term Post Intensive Care Syndrome (PICS), which references at the physical, psychic, cognitive and familiar repercussions. In Spain, the prevalence of PICS situates among the 30-50%. Objective: Assess the effectiveness of the implementation of the program of health PICS-ZERO at the Intensive Care Unit of Girona's University Hospital Dr. Josep Trueta to prevent the emergence of the Post Intensive Care Syndrome. Methods: Intervention study, prospective, almost experimental with band control no equivalent, which composes of three phases: pre-intervention, intervention and post-intervention. It will realise at it ICU of University Hospital Dr. Josep Trueta. The populace of the study will be composed by two bands of participants. On the one hand, the patients given of tall of the ICU at the phase pre-intervention and, on the other hand, the patients given of tall of the ICU at the phase post-intervention. The variables of the study reference at the physical, psychic and cognitive repercussions that generates the PICS. They will utilize distinct instruments of size, especially, questionnaires and scales; corresponding instruments at each variable associated at the functions that assess. It will utilize the program SPSS 24.0 for the analysis of the data employing descriptive statisticians of central trend and dispersion of the numeric variables. The categorical variables will show at frequencies and percentages. They will realize analyses bivariants, utilizing it Khi squared of Pearson (X2) to analyze the categorical variables and, for the numeric variables the proof T-Student among the independent bands and the proof ANOVA for the rest. Contributions of the project: the program of health PICS-ZERO will prevent the PICS offering the most current activities written by the scientific community

Introducció: La supervivència dels pacients ingressats a la UCI ha incrementat en els últims anys com també el nombre de pacients donats d’alta d’aquest servei que presenten afectacions importants, repercutint a la seva vida diària. És per aquest motiu, que l’any 2010 es va definir el terme Post Intensive Care Syndrome (PICS), el qual fa referència a les repercussions físiques, psíquiques, cognitives i familiars. A Espanya la prevalença de la PICS se situa entre el 30-50%. Objectiu: Avaluar l’efectivitat de la implementació del programa de salut PICS-ZERO a la Unitat de Cures Intensives de l’Hospital Universitari de Girona Dr. Josep Trueta per prevenir l’aparició de la Síndrome Postteràpia Intensiva. Material i mètodes: Estudi d’intervenció, prospectiu, quasi experimental amb grup control no equivalent, el qual es compon de tres fases: pre-intervenció, intervenció i post-intervenció. Es portarà a terme a la UCI de l’Hospital Universitari de Girona Dr. Josep Trueta. La població de l’estudi estarà composta per dos grups de participants. D’una banda, els pacients donats d’alta de la UCI en la fase pre-intervenció i, per altra banda, els pacients donats d’alta de la UCI en la fase post-intervenció. Les variables de l’estudi estan relacionades amb les repercussions físiques, psíquiques i cognitives que genera la PICS. S’utilitzaran diferents instruments de mesura, especialment, qüestionaris i escales; corresponents a cada variable associada a les funcions que s’avaluen. S’utilitzarà el programa SPSS 24.0 per a l’anàlisi de les dades emprant estadístics descriptius de tendència central i dispersió per les variables numèriques. Les variables categòriques es mostraran en freqüències i percentatges. Es realitzaran anàlisis bivariants, utilitzant la Khi-quadrat (X2) de Pearson per analitzar les variables categòriques i, per les variables numèriques la prova T-Student entre els grups independents i la prova ANOVA per la resta. Aportacions del projecte: el programa de salut PICS-ZERO permetrà prevenir l’aparició de la PICS oferint les mesures més actuals narrades per la literatura
