Les Torretes de telegrafia òptica a la província de Girona: situació actual i potencialitats per a la seva valorització com a referents geogràfics i patrimonials

Abstract

Treball sobre la descoberta les torres de telegrafia òptica com a element històric i patrimonial. Un dels objectius del treball és donar visibilitat de nou a totes aquestes construccions (ja en trobem de restaurades i funcionals) i poder crear una xarxa de miradors i rutes per fer excursions per tal de visitar-les. A part, volem donar un punt de vista geogràfic, per tal de poder visualitzar i interpretar bona part dels territoris que composen la província així com els seus paisatges

My final degree project deals with the discovery, valorization of one of the lesser-known heritages we have in Catalonia, the optical telegraphy towers. Not only do we find them in Catalonia, but we also find them all over Spain, but I have focused mainly on those we can see in the province of Girona. They are part of our history that has been largely forgotten, but they have great potential, especially tourism, but also education. That is why I think that one of the main objectives of the work is to give visibility to all these constructions (we have already found them restored and functional) and to be able to create a network of viewpoints and routes for excursions in order to visit them. Besides, we want to give a new point of view of these towers that other works have not given or that have not treated as much as we intend with this one, which would be the geographical point of view from the towers, in order to be able to visualize and interpret much of the territories that make up the province as well as its landscapes, as in the vast majority of books, works and articles I have read, this view is not taken into account I hope that thanks to this work we can give more visibility to this heritage so unknown to our lands and that the municipalities where they are can decide what to do with them, whether to restore them, destroy them or not intervene directly.
