Noves perspectives sobre Ramon Llull- "Cascun proverbi és escrit | per ço que en son lloc sia dit": els proverbis rimats de Ramon Llull

Abstract

Ramon Llull wrote two collections of proverbs in verse: Proverbis de la Retòrica nova (the bulk of sec-tion 2.7 of his Retòrica nova), in 1302, and Proverbis d’ensenyament, at an uncertain date. This article analy-ses these texts within the context of Llull’s proverbial and poetic works, and connects them to contempo-rary books of proverbs. Lastly, it focuses on the textual transmission of both texts, particularly on some prob-lematic aspects of Proverbis d’ensenyament, and offers a thematic and formal analysis
