Abstract

This article analyses the ruins of some monastic premises that still remain east of the main cloister of the Navarrese abbey of La Oliva, belonging to the ancient infirmary for sick monks. This task is carried out placing the focus both on the analysis of the surviving architectural elements and their former functionality

Este artículo analiza los restos conservados de unas dependencias situadas al este del claustro reglar del monasterio cisterciense navarro de La Oliva, correspondientes a su antigua enfermería de monjes. Su estudio se lleva a cabo desde un doble enfoque, que toma en consideración tanto el análisis arquitectónico de las estructuras supervivientes como la funcionalidad que estas tuvieron en su día
