L’Antilla, una fábula conocida de Michelangelo Buonarroti il Giovane, erróneamente atribuida a Francisco de Aldana

This study shows that L'Antilla, the mythological fable discovered by María Luisa Cerrón Puga (1984) in a miscellaneous volume of the Biblioteca Nacional Bridense, is not the work of Francisco de Aldana, but of Michelangelo Buonarroti il Giovane, nephew of the great Miguel Angel, and it is also demonstrated that the fable was composed around 1600, in the framework of the meetings in Antella (Bagno a Rapoli) of a group of intellectual friends and gentiluomini literati, known then as the Pastori Antellesi
