Valoració de l'adherència terapèutica de les persones amb malaltia crònica a partir d'una aplicació web: projecte de recerca

Abstract

Population growth and longevity leads to a society older in many parts of the world, as well as a significant increase in chronic diseases deficiencies. In Catalonia 40% of the population suffers from a chronic or long-term illness and the lack of adherence to medicine is one of the causes of the failure of the treatment that is considered a public health problem. According to WHO, about 50-60% of people worldwide have some type of medication that does not meet all of your therapeutic plan. One of the strategies used to improve adherence is the use of mobile phones in the healthcare world. ICT in the health field can be used for the promotion of health, monitoring, prevention and treatment of diseases. In 2017, between iOS and Android operating systems, there were 325,000 mobile applications related to health. Objective: To evaluate the effectiveness of a web application on the therapeutic adherence of people with chronic primary health care. Methods: a practically experimental study that will last for a period of one year, from October 2019 to October 2020. The population is found in people taking medication for the treatment of chronic diseases and they are attended in the BAH of Cassà de la Selva, Breda-Hostalric and Anglès. The study variables are related to the administration of therapies, health education, the administration of new technologies and the evaluation of the web application during the project. The data will be obtained from the administration of four questionnaires and the realization of differents centrals groups. The SPSS 23.0 program will be used for the treatment of quantitative data using the frequencies, the percentage and the usual characteristics of the central (medium) and of the variability (standard deviation and total range). For the crossing of classified variables, the independence test of Khi squared and the T student will be used.
