Importaciones etruscas en Mas Gusó (Bellcaire d'Empordà, Girona, Cataluña)

Abstract

Among imported materials that appear relatively frequently in Mas Gusó during the 6th century BC, the Etruscan productions have a prominent place, together with others, equally, more frequent or more rare, which help to complete the repertoire of ceramic containers characteristics of the period. These are genuine guide fossils not just to date the different archaeological levels that were formed throughout the century, but also other local productions with a usually less accurate chronology. Finally, the comparative analysis with materials from Empúries highlights the close relationship between the two sites

Entre los materiales de importación que aparecen con relativa frecuencia en Mas Gusó durante el siglo VI aC, las producciones etruscas ocupan un lugar destacado, junto con otras tanto o más fre-cuentes o más raras, según los casos, que ayudan a completar el repertorio de recipientes cerámicos característicos del período, habitualmente auténticos fósiles directores para fechar no solo los diferen-tes niveles arqueológicos que se formaron a lo largo del siglo, sino también otras producciones locales de cronología generalmente más imprecisa. Finalmente, el análisis comparado con los materiales de Empúries pone de manifiesto la estrecha relación entre ambos yacimientos
