Un "Miracle" per a Pere Nunyes

Abstract

The main subject of this study is attribution to Pere Nunyes of the sixteenth-century paintings from the current altarpiece of the Holy Sacrament Chapel from the Miracle of Riner Sanctuary (Catalonia). Through the analysis of this paintings, the author enriches the knowledge of the artistic culture of the artist, and, specially, he examines the difficult question about the particular scope of the role that Pere Nunyes played in the contracted works shared with his fellow countryman Henrique Fernandes during his long period of artistic association

Estudi sobre el pintor portuguès Pere Nunyes que es construeix des de l'atribució de les pintures cinccentistes de l'actual retaule de la capella del Santíssim del Santuari del Miracle de Riner (Solsonès). L'anàlisi d'aquestes taules s'aprofita per enriquir el coneixement de la cultura gràfica manipulada per l'artista, i, sobretot, per revisar la complicada qüestió relativa a l'abast concret de la participació de Pere Nunyes en els treballs contractats durant la llarga etapa de la seva associació pictòrica amb el també portuguès Henrique Fernandes
