En el infierno sonoro con María Zambrano = In sonorous Hell with María Zambrano

Abstract

The nexus between different kinds of hell and music in Zambrano lead us to show, firstly, the relationship between music of the soul and sensitive music in her work. Secondly, the text analyzes the sensitive music that Zambrano listens to—her soundscape—and then the sonorous landscape of contemporary music. Here the figure of Orpheus serves as a guide to interrogate, thirdly, the image of the modern Orpheus and his descent into daily hell. Through this, the work of Stravinsky, Birtwistle, Jerez and Iges allows us to trace a dialogue with the thought of the Malagueña philosopher

Los nexos entre los distintos tipos de infierno y la música en Zambrano nos llevan a mostrar, en primer lugar, la relación entre música del alma y música sensible en su obra. En segundo lugar, el texto analiza la música sensible que Zambrano escucha —su fondo sonoro—, para pasar después al paisaje sonoro de la música contemporánea. En este pasaje, la figura de Orfeo sirve de guía para interrogar, en tercer lugar, la imagen del Orfeo moderno y su descenso a los infiernos cotidianos. En esta trayectoria, las obras de Stravinsky, de Birtwistle y de Jerez e Iges nos permiten trazar un diálogo con el pensamiento de la filósofa malagueña
