I Riflessi letterari dell’Unità d’Italia nella narrativa siciliana

Abstract

El treball d'investigació té per objecte oferir un inventari raonat de novel•les i contes curts d’autors sicilians d’entre 1860 i 1898, de Giovanni Verga a la Simonetta Agnello Hornby, diferents en edat, cultura i condició social. Vol fer evident la persistència de la reflexió sobre el Risorgimento "traït", i ajudar a comprendre com hi havia un marc d’unitat política i institucional en el què no es donava cabuda a les diferències entre el Nord i el Sud d’Itàlia

This research work aims to provide an inventory raisonné, novels and short stories, set in the years 1860-1898, the authors Sicilian, from Giovanni Verga to the Simonetta Agnello Hornby, different in age, culture and social condition, to make clear the persistence reflection on the idea of the Risorgimento "betrayed" , to understand how there was a Unit policy and institutional framework that had no reason for differences (and even exacerbated it) between North and South of Italy
