El port baixmedieval de la ciutat de Barcelona: una visió des de l'arqueologia: l'escullera de 1477 i la troballa d'un vaixell tinglat

Text Complet
In this article, we present data and reflections on the question of the medieval harbour of Barcelona based on the results obtained during the archaeological excavations conducted alongside Estació de França railway station. The unusual depth reached makes it possible to extrapolate certain data that contribute to our knowledge of the seafront of the city during the 9th century. We pay particular attention to two especially important elements: firstly, the finding of two fragments of a late-medieval clinker-built ship; and secondly, the location of the breakwater of La Santa Creu, the second attempt to equip with the city with a large port structure, constructed between 1477 and 1486
