Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia is the most prevalent type of cancer among childhood, being also the most successful in survival rating due to early detection of cases and the constant developing of medicine to treat cases from the beginning. The peak incidence of ALL can be found in the group ages from 2 to 4 years old, while its development is very diverse. During treatment, mostly made with chemotherapy, numerous children are exposed to suffer side effects. One of the most common symptoms is the loss of appetite and if not treated in time, it can lead to child malnutrition. The main objective of this study is to improve the nutritional status with ALL, through a specific program of health education based on six training sessions about nutrition and the disease. The study population are children from 4 to 6 years old, diagnosed with ALL within the last year and which are in the third phase of treatment (reinduction). The simple will be chosen randomly and voluntarily and is going to be divided into two groups (case and control) with the same number in each. The sessions can be held together (children and caregivers) or separate. The aim of these is to increase knowledge of nutrition for the main carers of the children and for the kids themselves with 6 sessions, adapted so all the study participants can achieve sufficient knowledge in nutritional habits. Through the study, we intend to demonstrate that the training sessions that are going to be held with sample group will be effective in order to prevent child malnutrition and improve the nutritional status of children affected by ALL from the ages of 4 to 6 years
