Introduction: Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) is a disease that belongs to Interstitial Lung Diseases (ILD) of unknown etymology. It generally affects males aged between 40 and 75 years. IPF is a disease that presents with decreased fibrosis lung function, dyspnoea and cough. It is characterized by the proliferation of fibroblasts that leads to decreased gas exchange and epithelial injury. Life expectancy is among three to five years after the first diagnosis. In recent years, there has been an increased prevalence probably due to the optimization of diagnostic methods and increased life expectancy. The main objective of pharmacological treatments currently available is to control symptoms, slow the progress of disease and prolong survival. The main non-pharmacological treatment is lung transplantation where then drug treatment with immunosuppressant, antibiotics, antivirals, among others, starts. The therapeutic adherence of patients with respiratory diseases is 28%, being the group with the lowest rate of therapeutic adherence of Spain. This may be due to lack of knowledge of the disease and its treatment, complexity of treatment and absence of symptoms including a high co-payment within others. Objective: To develop a web resource for nursing to provide autonomy to people with a low level of education and illiteracy, to control drug taking in the medical treatment of a patient post-transplant lung.
Methodology: For the creation of the web resource, technique drafting’s of the 18 used drugs were written, photographs and additional information extracted by health professionals included. The most important is the final result, where the standard treatment is totally visual, using minimizing written language. The main objective was to create a comprehensive document tailored to the needs of patients.
Results: A web resource called Janeka was created, which permits to create a treatment plan in a more visual, avoiding or minimizing the written language use.
Conclusions: The conclusion of the project was to meet the main goal of it, design and develop a professional website. This web tool or resource may be applicable to other services and beneficiaries because of its format that allows abstention of the written language. I must say that it is a model and pilot test because of the limitations
