This study analyses the mathematical actions carried out by 0-3 year-old children in artistic installations, understood to be aesthetic spaces which prompt the children to participate and foster their development. The artistic installations have been organised within a mesospace in which body movement is needed to be able to carry out a comprehensive analysis. A total of 85 children aged from one to three participated in the study, carrying out actions in two different artistic installations. The results show that the younger children perform fewer mathematical actions (linked to sensorial qualities and quantities), but that the number of actions increases and also diversifies in relation to all blocks of content (sensorial qualities, quantities, positions and shapes, measurable attributes) as the children grow
