The field of silos of Camp de l’Abadia (Aiguaviva) is a valuable link in the evolution of the suburbium of Gerunda that goes back to before 218 BC with some strong frequentations difficult to define. The numerous excavated pits mark an intense occupation of the site from early years of 1st century BC to the last third or last quarter of 1st century AD. We pose the existence of an agrarian settlement within the indigenous tradition that, despite of overcoming the crisis of the beginning of High Empire, finally disappeared. The compilation of the very numerous signs confirms a strong grain farming vocation
