El Museu de Francesc Bolòs en els inicis dels museus a Catalunya

The history of the origins of Catalan museums is closely linked to the city of Barcelona, until well into the 19th century where most museums were to be found. In this work, we present a museum present in Olot in the early 19th century, work of pharmacologist and naturalist Francesc Bolòs. Although with a different chronology and another order of volume and importance, the creation and development of this museum calls to mind the museum of the Salvador family in Barcelona. In his home in Olot, Francesc Bolòs set up a small museum from his natural sciences and numismatics collections, following the general principles governing the installation of museums at the start of the 19th century
