In this study the fourth and fifth strata of cave 120 will be analysed corresponding to the occupation of the cave as a refuge by groups of hunters-gatherers during the archaic phase of the Middle Paleolithic. The most usual technical process of the lithic industry ofthese groups was the production of tools out of fragments of quartz, the scraper being the most representative morphotype. During these occupations Cepaea nemoralis was used for human consumption
