Their management requires continuous care, and cardiac rehabilitation (CR) is essential for recovery and secondary prevention. Despite proven benefits, participation in CR programs remains low. Healthcare digitalization and the use of eHealth have emerged as solutions to improve accessibility, continuity of care, and self-management for patients with CVD. Aims: The main objective of this literature review is to describe the eHealth-related factors that facilitate self-management in CR. The specific objectives are to identify the components of eHealth that ensure continuity of care in CVD and to determine the impact and limitations of eHealth in CR. Materials and Methods: A literature review was conducted between November 2024 and April 2025 in the PubMed, Scopus, Dialnet, and CINAHL databases, selecting studies published between 2016 and 2025 in Spanish and English, using MeSH and DeCS terms. Ten studies were included according to the established inclusion and exclusion criteria. Results: The selected studies, mainly from Europe, the United States, and Asia, confirm that digital interventions (eHealth and mHealth) improve self-management, quality of life, and continuity of care in CR. The most effective strategies are telemonitoring, nurse-led digital support, and the use of mobile applications. Cardiac telerehabilitation is as effective as face-to-face rehabilitation and provides significant economic savings, although limitations remain, such as the lack of standardized protocols, the digital divide, the need for further training, and limited long-term evidence. Conclusions: eHealth is a transformative and complementary tool to face-to-face care in CR, promoting self-management, patient empowerment, and healthcare efficiency. Nursing plays a key role in the implementation and follow-up of these interventions. To move forward, it is necessary to overcome the digital divide, invest in training and standardized protocols, and actively involve patients and professionals in the design of digital tools Wed, 01 Jan 2025 00:00:00 GMT http://hdl.handle.net/10256/27119 2025-01-01T00:00:00Z Anàlisi històric nacional de l’evolució de la professió de llevadora i l’assistència al part: monografia http://hdl.handle.net/10256/27118 Anàlisi històric nacional de l’evolució de la professió de llevadora i l’assistència al part: monografia Solé Eroles, Núria The present work surrounds the theme of the history of the midwives in Spain. Its objective seeks, through a historical analysis, to study and reconstruct how the profession of the midwife in Spain has evolved from a gender perspective, and how this has influenced the attention to the current part. To make this possible, a qualitative bibliographic research was carried out during the months of September-November through different databases and using public libraries; from iconographic sources to documentary sources, such as laws and medical cartels of the time in question. With the results obtained, a common thread is made of how the beginnings of this millennial profession were, where it is shown that, historically, midwives have been the main caregivers of both pregnancy and childbirth. This was a community and empirical event, transmitted orally from generation to generation between women and managed by midwives without a regulated training. In the 18th century, with the appearance of obstetricians, a hierarchization began in the care of childbirth and midwives are progressively excluded from their attention. Later this becomes an institutionalized act, moving from home to hospital, implementing protocols and technologies that reduce mortality but at the same time are increasingly weakening female autonomy. The millennial midwife becomes a nurse specializing in obstetrics and gynecology, under strict medical supervision within a hierarchical model. Finally, movements resurface on a part focused on women and the autonomous role of the midwife, with bets on more respectful and less interventionist care models. The present work confirms that the midwife has been present throughout the history of humanity, and how this has been inseparable from the social, cultural and patriarchal contexts that have wanted to make it invisible and subordinate, as women in general. It is necessary to reassess the professional and autonomous role of the midwife as a key figure in the care of pregnancy and the normal birth, in favor of a more human birth and in favor of the sexual and reproductive health of women in general Wed, 01 Jan 2025 00:00:00 GMT http://hdl.handle.net/10256/27118 2025-01-01T00:00:00Z Necessitats de les dones diagnosticades de trastorn de l’espectre autista en l’edat adulta: projecte de recerca no finalitzat http://hdl.handle.net/10256/27117 Necessitats de les dones diagnosticades de trastorn de l’espectre autista en l’edat adulta: projecte de recerca no finalitzat Sintes Masegosa, Aida Introduction: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by persistent difficulties in communication and social interaction, as well as repetitive patterns of behavior. Current evidence shows a higher prevalence in ment than in women, a fact that may be related both to differences in clinical manifestation and to diagnostic criteria skewed towards the male pattern. The review of the current literature shows an underdiagnosis or delayed diagnosis of ASD in women, which may hinder access to adequate support and negatively affect their well-being. Given this reality, it is necessary to identify the specific needs of this group in order to improve their health and social care. Furthermore, it is essential to understand how women with ASD may experience their identity and needs differently from men, given the social and cultural context that often minimizes their manifestations and experiences of the disorder. Objective: Identify the specific needs of women who have been diagnosed with ASD in adulthood, thus exploring their lived experiences. Methodology: A qualitative study will be carried out with a phenomenological approach, using semi-structured individual interviews as the main data collection technique. The sample will be composed of women between 18 and 65 years old, diagnosed with this condition within the last five years. The selection will be made by means of a probabilistic and intentional sampling, and the participants will be identified through different centers of the Mental Health and Addictions Network (XSMA) of the province of Girona. The objective is to understand how these women live and perceive the impact of late diagnosis, especially in the social, emotional and labor fields. The use of the phenomenological approach will allow us to explore the subjective experiences of the participants, ensuring a deep understanding of their meanings, perceptions, and experiences in relation to the late diagnosis of ASD Wed, 01 Jan 2025 00:00:00 GMT http://hdl.handle.net/10256/27117 2025-01-01T00:00:00Z Recursos internos y barreras para superar una adicción: proyecto de investigación no finalizado http://hdl.handle.net/10256/27114 Recursos internos y barreras para superar una adicción: proyecto de investigación no finalizado Sánchez Itoiz, Iraia Introduction: Addictions represent a highly complex public health issue, affecting individuals and societies on multiple levels. This study analyzes the internal resources that facilitate overcoming addictions, addressing various factors such as biological, psychological, social, and cultural influences, and highlights the role of nursing in this process. Objective: To identify the internal resources that support overcoming an addition, analyze potential barriers throughout the process, and explore differences based on gender, culture, and economic status. Methodology: This is an ongoing research project based on qualitative methodology. The study adopts a phenomenological qualitative approach, aiming for an in-depth understanding of the subjective experience of a situation, illness, or condition as lived by the individual. Focus groups and semi-structured individual interviews will be used for data collection. The project will receive approval from the Ethics Committee of Girona. The research results will help identify key internal resources in addiction overcoming and detect common barriers during the process, enabling nurses to optimize their interventions Wed, 01 Jan 2025 00:00:00 GMT http://hdl.handle.net/10256/27114 2025-01-01T00:00:00Z
