It is an action-research model that forms part of the Industrial Doctorate program of the Government of Catalonia. The research body is structured into two main sections: a theoretical part and a practical part. It focuses on three core areas: the redefinition of museographic spaces as active agents in dialogue with the urban environment, the emergence of digital media, which impacts both museum narratives and the visitor experience, and the evolution from homogeneous narratives to inclusive discourses, necessitating more flexible and innovative museological systems. The study employs various strategies within a methodological triangulation process, beginning with a bibliographic review, including semi-structured interviews with key stakeholders from selected museums, and ethnographic observation at the Centre Pompidou and the Atelier des Lumières in Paris. Ultimately, it proposes an action-research model for the prefiguration of the Carmen Thyssen Museum in Sant Feliu de Guíxols. This qualitative and multidimensional approach provides a holistic perspective on the transformation of contemporary museums; CAT- Aquesta tesi doctoral aborda la transició del museu modern al museu contemporani, explorant com aquests espais evolucionen per adaptar-se a les necessitats d’una societat diversificada i digital. És un model d’investigació-acció que forma part del programa de doctorats industrials de la Generalitat de Catalunya. El cos de la recerca s’ha estructurat en dos blocs: una part teòrica i una de pràctica. Es centra en tres eixos: la redefinició dels espais museogràfics com a agents actius en diàleg amb l’entorn urbà, la irrupció dels mitjans digitals, que impacten tant en les narratives museístiques com en l’experiència del visitant; i l’evolució del relats homogenis cap a discursos inclusius que demana sistemes museístics més flexibles i innovadors. Combina diverses estratègies en un procés de triangulació metodològica. Parteix d’un estudi bibliogràfic, inclou entrevistes semiestructurades a agents clau de museus seleccionats i un treball d’observació etnològica al Centre Pompidou i a l’Atelier des Lumières a París. The city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, recognized as a mixed site of culture and biodiversity. Paraty is also part of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network as a Creative City of Gastronomy, due to the value and diversity of its local cuisine. However, Paraty's attractiveness contrasts with high levels of violence. Addressing this issue, this exploratory and descriptive study aims to analyze the perception of locals and visitors regarding po-tential factors that may restrict tourism in the area, as well as examine data on criminal incidents in Paraty, with an emphasis on violent fatality situations. Asurvey was conducted with 404 people, in-cluding tourists and residents, during both low and high seasons of 2023. The results revealed diffe-rences in safety perceptions, with tourists generally more optimistic about safety than locals. We be-lieve this study has contributed to understanding the challenges of tourism in Paraty and may serve as a basis for future research on the restrictive factors in the sector; Paraty, situada na Costa Verde do Rio de Janeiro, é conhecida por seus atrativos turísticos únicos, que incluem recursos naturais e um rico patrimônio histórico-cultural. Essa riqueza fez da cidade um Patrimônio da Humanidade, reconhecido pela UNESCO como um sítio misto de cultura e biodiversidade. Paraty integra também a Rede de Cidades Criativas da UNESCO, como Cidade Criativa da Gastronomia, graças ao valor e diversidade da culinária local. No entanto, a atratividade de Paraty contrasta com altos índices de violência. A partir dessa problemática, este trabalho exploratório e descritivo visa analisar a percepção de moradores e visitantes acerca de potenciais fatores restritivos ao turismo na referida localidade, além de averiguar os dados referentes às ocorrências criminais no município de Paraty, com ênfase nas situações de letalidade violenta. Para isso, foi aplicado um formulário a 404 pessoas, incluindo turistas e residentes, durante a baixa e a alta temporadas de 2023. Os resultados revelaram diferenças nas percepções de segurança, com turistas geralmente mais otimistas em relação à segurança do que os moradores. Due to the presence of various AIs in urban systems, there are now more agentic forces influencing the trajectory of urban development and entangling with pre-existing bio- logical intelligences. Because of AI's substantial environmental costs, more resources are now needed to satisfy cities' technological appetite. Urban futures are also becoming more uncertain as private AI com- panies gain considerable power in urban governance through oligarchic schemes that leave citizens with no voice. In this paper, we bridge Urban Political Ecology (UPE) and urban AI literature, in order to crit- ically examine the nature of AI as it intertwines with urban living and urban infrastructure. More specific- ally, we offer a threefold contribution to knowledge. First, we examine how the advent of urban AI is altering urban metabolism, zooming in on specific socio-environmental issues pertaining to energy, water and labour. Second, we discuss how the urban metabolisms altered by AI are reproducing uneven dynamics of development that are ultimately leading to different forms of injustice. Candidato UNESCO (Colombia) Marín Martínez, Edna Constanza ENG- The purpose of this research proposal is to define and evaluate the elements that define the technological route of action for a Geopark, within the dynamics of the Information and Knowledge Society (hereinafter, SIC) and the use of Information and Communication Technologies (hereinafter, ICT), which responds to the problems identified in previous research, in this case, focused on the tourism sector, Geoparks and intelligent services supported by ICT. In order to define these elements, it was decided to analyze and study the advances and the state of the art of the Geoparks of the World, of the services and dynamics of tourism around these spaces, of the possibilities of ICT to generate intelligent services, so that a framework for the use and conservation of the Ruiz Volcano Geopark, located in the central mountain range of Colombia, can be built with the community and the actors of the region of Caldas and Colombia. Therefore, we will try to achieve the objectives of this empirical research through the use of the scientific method because it is the most systematic and orderly. Similarly, this technological route is intended to be formulated in such a way that it can be replicated in other Geoparks based on the elements proposed, their relationships and the form of intervention of the community and the actors. Last but not least, this proposal arises from the researcher's inquiries and interests that are closely related to her region, training and life project; CAT- Amb aquesta proposta de recerca es pretén definir i avaluar els elements que defineixen la ruta tecnològica de transformació digital per a un Geoparc, dins de la dinàmica de la Societat de la informaciò i del Coneixement (d'ara endavant, SIC) i l'ús de les Tecnologies de la Informació i les Comunicacions (d'ara endavant, TIC), que respongui la problemàtica identificada en recerques prèvies, en aquest cas, enfocada al sector turístic, els Geoparcs i els serveis intel·ligents recolzats en TIC. Per a definir aquests elements es decideix analitzar i estudiar els avanços i l'estat de l'art dels Geoparcs del Món, dels serveis i les dinàmiques del turisme al voltant d'aquests espais, de les possibilitats de les TIC per a generar-los serveis digitals intel·ligents, de manera que pugui construir-se amb la comunitat i amb els actors de la regió de Caldas i de Colòmbia un marc d'aprofitament i conservació per al Geoparc Volcà del Ruiz, situat en la serralada central de Colòmbia. Per tant, s'intentarà aconseguir els objectius d'aquesta recerca empírica a través de l'ús del mètode científic per ser el més sistemàtic i ordenat.
