Ordinary tables. Post-medieval pottery from the Ravenna countryside as an archaeological and social indicator: new evidence from the castle of Bagnara di Romagna (circa 16th-18th century)
Cesaretti, Giacomo
The present study aims at providing an overall picture of the post-medieval ceramic assemblage recovered from the castle of Bagnara di Romagna (Ravenna), in the course of archaeological investigations conducted by the local Superintendency in the early 2000s. In this respect, the main purpose of the paper is to investigate matters related to pottery circulation and consumption in a rather peripheral area of the province of Ravenna, nonetheless close to important trade routes, given its vicinity to Faenza and Imola

The present study aims at providing an overall picture of the post‑medieval ceramic assemblage recovered from the castle of Bagnara di Romagna (Ravenna), in the course of archaeological investigations conducted by the local Superintendence in the early 2000s. In this respect,
the main purpose of the paper is to investigate matters related to pottery circulation and consumption in a rather peripheral area of the Province of Ravenna, but close to important trade routes, due to its proximity to Faenza and Imola; La família Llorens fou una de les més benestants de Salt durant l’època moderna.

Saccardo, Francesca
Thousands of ceramic finds emerged from archaeological investigations between the 1980s and 2014 in Venice and Mestre, in the nearby mainland: in the former Frari monastery in San Polo, valuable early Renaissance sgraffito ware and a lustred majolica, used to fill the vaulted ceiling of a large room; in S. Pietro di Castello, S. Giobbe in Cannaregio and S. Maria delle Grazie in Mestre, garbage holes have returned onochrome or painted on engobe glazed pottery, sgraffito ware, berettina» tin glazed ware. The majolica from Romagna, especially «berettina» and «compendiary style» are well attested, too; an albarello in

The archaeological area of El Born, approximately 8,000 m2, preserves the remains of La Ribera neighborhood, fossilized in 1719 motivated by the construction of the Citadel of the Borbons kings. Itself this site is to consider a closet set, but also the streets, canals and houses preserves wells, strata, and reservoirs full of materials sealed in a moment prior to 1719. We will present three of these sets: the last fillers of the Rec Comtal as garbage canal, and two reservoirs in the Colomer and Boxadors houses, located in two different island of the urban plan; L’àrea arqueològica del Born, d’aproximadament 8.000 m2, conserva les restes del barri de la Ribera, fossilitzades l’any 1719 amb motiu de l’enderroc d’aquesta part de la ciutat per la construcció de la ciutadella borbònica.
