Els mosaics de la vil·la del Pla de l'Horta

Abstract

The mosaic flooring (opus tessellatum) at the suburban village of Plà de 1'Horta at Sarrià de Ter (El Gironès), both bichrome and polychrome, offers an exact and finely contrasted chronology, making the floors an obligatory point of reference. A detailed analysis of the excavation records and the preserved remains have permitted accurate restoration of the floors and correct replacement in the original positions.
